Called it before the game that Zinch would get a good reception and then just ruin it.

What an utter gimp he is. Cries over absolutely everything. Talks about his country like it’s HIS country….do what the boxers did then Zinch and fuck off and fight for your country instead of sitting in England picking up £150k a week. Soft little twat.

Spot on. Always thought he cried a bit too much at the start

I thought we looked far better defensively when Stones went off. The amount of times he played Rico and the keeper in trouble with his little sideways and backwards passes. He was at his irritating worst tonight.
Ake was great again, Grealish is getting better and better for us and Bernie looked like he wanted to know when he came on for the 1st time in a while which bodes well.
Look forward to rags or dippers in the 5th.

I think this is a huge MORALE win.
Similar to what Chelsea did to us in 20/21.

Arsenal seem to have a complex against us and we manage to get at least 4 points against them in the league, I think we are going to make it.

Win Isa win, Ortega Ake, brilliant. If Pep can explain the Alvarez thing for me it’s baffling. Zinc is the new Milner the knob….. pathetic.

More should mention Akanji, excellent last night and has been very good since his arrival (didn't need18 months to settle).

An absolute bargain.

By any chance did Pep question the ref’s performance after the game?

We’ve been fucked over for a good couple of months now and it seems that once again we’re happy to just take it.

No other team let’s this happen to them with saying anything. It’s embarrassing.

Last night the ref was terrible.

True I meant to. Plus another ref who definitely was at it again.

It started in the first minute with that ridiculous decision on Haaland. The elbow too, really bent refereeing.

Arse now have the new Manager syndrome for next Saturday's early game at Goodison Park. The way Ake pocketed Saka last night will not go unnoticed by Dyche. . Also, the long ball tactic employed once City got the game under control will work for Scouse1 too.

Does Pigmol have any decent Refs ? We've been given some shockers recently and on VAR.

Refs should be paid a fortune if only to encourage ex Pros to take up the job. I simply don't understand how so called Professional Referees seem to get the very basics wrong.

Pep seemed critical of Stones saying from early on he looked tired and therefore vulnerable to getting injured. The implication was he should have put his hand up and said he didn’t feel fit to play. I would have thought this could have been observed in training but who knows.

Worst football Ive seen from us in a long time.Second half was better but still nowhere near our normal work load.

We have to stop this fucking possession football for the sake of possession football as its just boring to watch with very little punch upfront. Haaland is getting very poor service and hes having to come back to collect it....that's not his strength.

PeP has to have them train hard on pressing and getting those crosses in from both wings....lots of work to do as , as it stands we are not winning anything with those repeat performances.

Ake, Akenji and Grealish fantastic last night. Grealish really starting to find his way to play in this set up.

Alvarez needs to start he’s a sniper love him and The Beast up front with Grealish or Foden behind but I may be nostalgic for David Silva…

Very good performance and great for morale.

Stones does my head in.

I just do not get the way PeP is handling Alvarez....he brings so much to the table and isn't given a regular run of games like he has done Mahrez.

The guy offers more than Haaland and should be paired with him..........PeP HAS got to make a plan to get them 2 playing regularly as its just nonsense to keep him on the bench week in and week out like he has done.

Alvarez has something we missed: he seems like he is bullying his oppo. Very agressive, similar to Tevez.
I think next year he will explode.
