Manchester United have announced a net loss of £115.5m for the 2021-22 season even though revenues rose by 18% to £583.2m.

Figures released incorporating the end of their financial year in June showed losses rose by £23.3m compared to 2021.

The club's debt also went up, from £419.5m in 2021 to £514.9m this year - an increase of more than 22%.

"Our club's mission is to win football matches and entertain our fans," chief executive Richard Arnold said.

As a result of the signings last summer of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane wages rose by 19.1%, a rise of £61.6m to £384.2m.

That figure is the highest in Premier League history, surpassing the previous total of £355m set by Manchester City who have actually won a few trophies and have a squad that is worth more than 87pence.

Interesting that such abysmal results haven't brought any condemnation from either Sky or the BBC

Imagine if we make a loss like that?
We would never hear the end of it. We are still talked about as big spenders despite having better net spends than most if not all the top 6-7 clubs over the last 5 or so years

Ronaldo, visibly frustrated after seeing his team suffer an embarrassing loss, did not shake Ten Hag's hand and appeared to have a terse exchange with assistant coach Steve McLaren before leaving the field at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Can't believe those cunts fell for the 'Man City interest' when he was rumoured to be coming here. Probably our biggest 'signing' in the modern era (including Haaland).

Although to be fair, they are entertaining everyone else's fans.

Is this the end for the bin dippers - :

End of the wheelie bin? Underground 'super-bins' that hold thousands of litres of waste in huge containers below street could be rolled out nationwide after successful launch in Liverpool
Councils across the UK considering adopting 'super-bins' as seen in Liverpool
The bins can hold up to 5,000 litres of waste in huge containers below the street
They eliminate issues associated with wheelie bins such as rats, flies and litter

Gerrard walked out of his post match presser after we won the title against villa.

The scumbag was livid that he let the dipper title slip AGAIN and stood up and walked out, saying he had to check on his goalkeeper after he was assaulted.

It was very embarrassing and I'm still pissed off he wasn't charged with failing to fulfill his media duties.

Pissed off, not surprised obviously.

Anyway, good riddens to another nasty dipper.

his trademark scouse congratulation consisted only of a false claim that his keeper had been assaulted on the pitch by City fans as he cut short the post match interview. A pathetic blister of a man - Stevie Me.
