Well at least Pep admitted we were poor and that the only good thing is that we are through.
Khusanov going from strength to strength though.

Cherki progress seems to be stalling

The midfield was less than inspiring to say the least and the only plus point was Guehi scoring his first goal for us.

But we won so you should not complain at the shite football being produced.

Sarcasm aside - surely the fucking players can play better than that for fucks sake !!! We had barely a fucking shot on goal for most of the match.

If Pepito pulls off two major trophies you'll be the first to kiss his arse. On a serious note, he needs to deliver major silverware. If you cant play attractive football then silverware is a must to compensate. If you cant win silverware then football has to be watchable. Obviously I would prefer both or at least one but cant have shit football and no silverware.

I've said it before, but Cherki seems to be unbeatable when used as a sub, for some reason

Modern super-sub :D

Okay, it's a result. Best that can be said.

On a related note, we thought the refs were bad in the Premier League. Makes you realise things can always be worse.

A good keeper, made a couple of fine saves but reserve keeper at City is not where he wants to be. I think he madr it fairly clear that he will be offski.
He's goid enough to be a number 1 in most teams

I don't think WE knew we were signing Donna when we signed Trafford.

If you had an opportunity to sign the best keeper in the world on the cheap, would have been irresponsible for us not to sign him.

I don’t blame Trafford one bit - he’s rightly fucked off.
I also don’t blame City signing Donna.

It is what it is.

Interesting if the plan was to have Trafford as number 1, oregano as number 2, as blues were 50/50 split on whether that was too risky.

Ortega hasn't even been number 3 this season. He wasn't in our plans at all

I think he wanted to keep Ederson this season when he bought Trafford.
Wolves 1st game can't remember if Eddie was injured but Ortega was on bench.
Tottenham and Brighton Eddie was on bench.
Then we signed Donna and Eddie was sold.

Eddie wanted out for ages - City selling him was always on the cards .

It was but he's wanted out for about 3 years and he had 1 year left on his contract so it looked like he might have stayed the final year and negotiated a much better deal for himself at a new club.

I do agree no need for that outburst, head down win 2 cups (could be pinnacle of his career) then look for a number1 position elsewhere in the summer.
