Brilliant win without our main outlet in Doku.

Even a contribution by Savinho. We are cooking something up this season.
Tracking back is overrated.

Missed this as I was at City womens (6-1 and six points clear at the top!). Glad we won. How was Cherki?

Excellent away win against a team that tested us. Took a while to get on top but a few will struggle away to Palace

Assuming still no Stones Rodri or Kovacic. Pep is seemingly not making as many changes this season, (Leverkusen fuck up aside), so wouldn't be surprised to see the bulk of the Madrid team start.

We owe these after the cup final and I'm confident that we will prevail.

3-0 Haaland (3)

Closest I've ever got with a scorecard prediction

In the main he was great, especially his assist for Phil. Quite a flicks and back heels as well.

Said to brother oh fuck Sav ciing on but fair play he got a penalty for us, so cannot complain.

Sadly no improvemenrr from Reijnders.

Damn, had high hopes for Reijnders and I still do. Just can't see what he brings though at the moment (apart from smiling a lot)

I can't see what he does either, but people at the games and a lot of the pundits seem to rate him.
I think he must be one of those whose contributions you don't really notice.

As a bit of an aside, I thought we were comfortable against CP in much the same way as we were against RM, but the pundits do like to go on about us riding our luck.

Cherki was great, toss up between him and Nunes for MOTM.

I was listening to the English commentary, they were marvelling at his constant running and work rate. However i just don't see any benefit to it.
It is as if we are playing with 10 men. In the first half he was well into the box but did not shoot and ended up passing it wide right and nothing came of it.

To misquote Eric Morecambe talking to Andre Previn. "He's running around a lot , but not necessarily into the right spaces".

Excellent win, however we do need to bolster our midfield, teams just seem to cut through us. Realistically Palace could have been two up before we scored. Got away with it today. There are grounds where we won’t, dipperland for example, for all their issues, we never get anything there. The guy Wharton is very good, wouldn’t mind him in our midfield.

I thought Nico G played quite well, we had Foden and Reijnders having a very quiet game today.
