If the players give their heads a wobble we win. Too many red carpets have half the team thinking they just have to turn up. Are we going to be Rocky or Apollo Creed?

i think it’s other kinds of red carpets that are the problem. more interested in fashion and bling than performing on the pitch. pampered bunch of pricks at the moment

This has to be potentially the shittest Derby in 20 years or more.

At least since van gaal v pelligrini.

It's going to be mayhem regardless. Would love to be at it

If we could get Kovacic and foden back play a 6 of kova, Phil, Jack, doku, savinho and Haaland. We should be better. Gundo and Silva look like they are playing with pianos on tbeir backs and need resting. If they start were fucked.

So there's no Stones, Ake, Akanji, Lewis.
Going to have to make a team out of Eddie, Dias, Walker, Gvardiol, Silva, De Bruyne, Foden, Grealish, Gundogan, Kovacic, Nunes, Savinho, Haaland, Doku.
13 fit senior outfield players including massively out of form ones, just coming back from injury ones and only 3 defenders. If he doesn't put kids in he's going to play 3 at the back or put someone like Bernardo at left back.

Heard the Rags shitty manager say he had no doubts about joining the Rags. Has he got early onset Alzheimer’s? He said 4 weeks ago that he’d told the rags he wanted to wait until the end of the season but they wouldn’t let him

I sense a dry bumming on Sunday. Then again, as Outcast helpfully points out frequently, my predictions are mostly for shit

Kovacic and Foden have to start. That prick at right back is going to get caught out every time goofy and St. Feedthekids attack him unless a miracle happens and he has a half decent game. Kovacic is going to be key to us standing a chance. Foden is poor this season but he'll be fresh and Gundo looks leggy. First time in years I'm not feeling optimistic about playing them.
Edit. Was thinking we were at the swamp. Not as worried but anything could happen

Whatever you do, refrain from predicting this one. Last thing we need is another defeat to the scum. The implosion on the match thread would be epic, I don't need to tell you who'll be starring

It's just human nature for some zuri.

Some people expect the worst and it might cushion the blow somehow.

I expect the opposite. Especially when it comes to city. What they've given me over the last 10 to 15 years particularly just reinforces that process tbh

My take is this. If we get another performance as baffling as the previous 10. It needs explaining. I agree with Gundo when he said it’s obvious what’s going wrong, one miss/mistake/bad pass, we fall apart. Your pros, sort it, I agree with my mate when he said it’s makeshift defence and MF who are wide open to counters After the Forest game I thought ok, more like it, 3-0 but it massively flattered us, take it and crack on…… As I’m typing I don’t know how it goes tomorrow, but if it’s anything like last Saturdays Jekyll & Hyde, it will be a shit show v the scum for obvious reasons we all know. I think whatever happens it’s time for a reset. Peps never broke a contract!! he might be as close as he is going to get should we not turn up again.

I expect the lowest quality of football seen in a derby since the noughties

Haven’t we seen that already this season ?

Unless pep gets it together and puts out a fucking different side ,then I cannot see a win.
