I looked at this 2 games out and noted how the Rags get more airtime than anybody else, which, of course, means that they get paid more for facilities. And this isn't just this season, it's every season!
For me, it isn't just about the extra money from the competition, it's all about the exposure and how sponsors view the opportunities to sell their product, which means better deals for the Rags.
And to think, they still got more exposure than us when they were miles off the top 4.

This is one issue with going out of the FA Cup early, too - less games are rescheduled for midweek, meaning there's a game or two less that can be shown on TV.

Glad you mentioned that mate as when you look across the PL era, there's only one that stands out. What interested me this season was that the old Sky 3, Rags, Dippers and Arse all had greater exposure than us, and looking back Spurs haven't always been the media darlings.
However, we mustn't complain, we used to get as much exposure as the likes of Brighton a few years ago
