Yes they were revealed to be a surprising addition weren't they?
It all seemed to be getting messy with the take-over questions were being asked as to who were actually behind it.
Anyways, fuck 'em stick with your mid-table life and watch on as we lift the trophies

Great news!
One of the scummy under-handed back-stabbing 9. Hope they get relegated.

Pointless take over anyway. Newcastle support FFP so they wouldn’t have spent any of that dirty pirate oil money.

There is an American lined up to take over. Ashley will get his money.

As it goes I know quite a number of Geordies as there is a big number of them in Nottingham as a huge number of them came down on the 60s for work in the local mines and a lot stayed on after the mines closed. I have a lot of time for them myself and hope they do well

I hope that American isn't an 'Oil Money' billionaire. Perish the thought. The media would have a field day...

Bit of a shame. Any team taking points off dippers and rags is welcome to me.

I don't see it as a piece of excellent news, to be honest.
As mentioned above, I would gladly take any clubs that actually play versus the rags and course. Plus other owners similar to us would have annoyed the EPL.

They've probably just shit the bed over coronavirus. Even the oil people want value for money and nobody will be wanting to buy a pig in a poke, especially at the moment.

Yes, that is what they said in the brief statement. The commercial arrangement they agreed with Ashley expired because of the time taken to negotiate and they are not renewing because they don't think the case stacks up any more, especially with no clarity about next season.

So a mixture of Ashley being a twat and changed circumstances.

A pity really, I would have liked them to edge out Spuds.
