Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I remember before the restart was agreed many people calling for season to be “null and void” even management such as West Ham’s Karen Brady joined the ranks.
This was soon shouted down, saying West Ham had a vested interest in that they were in relegation zone. However there were quite a few fans that did not want games to be played behind close doors, claiming the integrity of the league would be in question because loss of home crowd advantage could be crucial.
Then the TV money reared it’s head, how could the premier league repay vast sums of money already budgeted for ?
There was also another vested interest, the LiVARpool factor, no way the league was going to be null and void with the victims on the threshold of their first title in thirty years!
For what it’s worth I have not been happy to view games in empty stadiums, it all seemed a bit fake, contrived, lacking emotional involvement.
For me it should have been null and void, start afresh in August with a new season! I wonder what you guys feel about all this?

I had no enjoyment out of watching us play ,even getting the 100 goals...zero emotion.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Only ever done to avoid -:
Losing the tv money that was already spunked by most
Ending the season so they could avoid missing out on the season after
Seeing red scouse over the line as champions
For me, this watching on. the tv has been truly shite and for the first time in my life, I chose not to watch the watford game. Totally souless without the fans but the precedent has been set and the new season will start without fans as well
A big no from me

I didn't enjoy it and only watched one free-to-air game.
I was against a restart, but now I would have to say that it has been a success in its limited objectives. Losses have been reduced by being able to televise the games, although I still expect every club to show significant losses this year. Promotion and relegation were settled based on teams' performance, and I know a West Brom and a Leeds fan who are thrilled to be back in the top flight. A method has been proven to start next season, which is going to be behind closed doors at least until October, and after that it wont be at full capacity.
It will be interesting to see what is the approach for season tickets. Lower league clubs have been continuing to sell them because they rely on the cash. PL clubs are clearly not doing anything until they have some concrete proposals.

Total waste of time, all about the money.
Would we feel different if it was us at the top of the table? Of course, but it was and always will be a tainted season.

To be fair it was a pile of fucking shit . Enjoyed most of our football though , all the other shite ie dipper wankfest , VAR helping the rags , diabolical fucking pundits and Scouse cunts everywhere even that big eared twat Lineker has turned BBC turtle . Can’t wait to go to games again for real in the stadiums as I won’t have to bother with the utterly disgusting tv coverage and agendas .
Not really here
Fuck VAR

I only wanted it voided so the dippers didnt get the league-cunts!
That aside and the fact there was no major medical issues it was better than nothing i guess. I did enjoy having footy on tv every night even if no fans, reminds me a bit of world cup. Telly is shite so watching any sort of footy even with no fans is better than no footy.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It actually exposed the game as looking pretty wank, without a crowd its pointless.
I enjoyed smashing the scouse twats up and thats about it. I forgot we were playing a couple of times and missed the FACup Semi. And I wasn't especially bothered.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

At the end of the day it set out what it intended to achieve, VARpool Got their win and treated us to jurgons disingenuous tears of joy
Now it’s all over and the focus has switched to the champions league, amazingly, there are concerns over corona which might lead to it being called off

Money talked, and the least expensive option (to the decision makers) prevailed.
VIVA EL CITIES
"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

I enjoyed it. Didn’t think I would.
We knew they’d win and they did. But we smashed the fuck out of them and they didn’t get the centurions tag so it was great.
Only downside to me was that fucking fa cup performance
