TBH if someone in the loop actually has done that, then the club deserves what it gets.
Remember, UEFA have acted as judge and jury on the basis of documentation that was:
- Illegally obtained in an incomplete form
- Selectively shared with Der Spiegel
- Selectively shared by Der Spiegel
That's a hell of a lot of curation that's gone on (aside from the original criminal offence on which UEFA's case is built), and it wouldn't stand up in a court of law if this were a criminal case. It's the equivalent someone breaking into a stately home, photographing paintings on the walls in two rooms, sharing some of the pictures with a friend, then that friend sharing pictures with cherubs in with the police, and the owner of the house being done for possession of child pornography.
