Experts saying Coronavirus wont peak in the UK until around 10 weeks time . Not a chance the season will be completed and virus cases expected to surge . Very grim but a silver lining if the scouse cunts don't get awarded the title I suppose
Not really here

As sad as all this is, you really cannot have a fucking laugh at this. You really can't.
A fucking pandemic came just for them not to win the title and football ended with a glorious night of them being ripped appart by atletico.

The day we should play the dippers

It now makes it mathematically impossible for them to win the league before they play us or when they play us (providing the league carries on).

There is a viscous rumour circulating in mainland China that when Steven Gerrard visited Wuhan back in November he was inadvertently used by the CIA to carry Covid-19 into the country, apparently in a pair of his old boots he was trying to auction.

The legal ramifications would be huge down the league pyramid with both the top and bottom 3 arguing that the should be promoted/not relegated.

Unless they can move the remaining fixtures after the fallout, which will be very difficult as the players won’t have trained properly, and it will run into the new season, then there is only one outcome, which is void the league.

Leeds. no Promotion

I was thinking that myself. Not only would Liverpool miss out after 30 years, Leeds would have it snatched away as well.

It's almost as if it's been planned ;-)

If they beat us they win it at the Etihad, they will have 85 points, max City can then reach is 84 points.

My bad, sorry - forgot that after playing them, we'd have 9 games left to play, not the 10 we currently have :/

Cancel the whole thing and wipe it from history - then laugh yourselves silly at the nearest scouser going into meltdown.

god, buddha, shiva, ra, zeus, whoever must really have it in for liverpool since pretty much the only reason they haven't already won the league is that this is the first year where we had a winter break... then the beer flu becomes a worldwide pandemic 1 game before they could potentially clinch it

This is one to remember post-COVID. The lack of leadership from the PL/FA/UEFA/FIFA/Government has been astounding. It’s actually been the people who have driven the current restrictions and it will be the people who ensure we get through it.

The bodies mentioned are absolute buffoons.

They let it drag on as long as they possibly could all because of financial consequences of calling a halt, same reason the Cheltenham festival was fulfilled.

Unbelievably negligent. It’s taken multiple cases within the league before the PL had to eventually themselves take action.

It shouldn’t have come to this though the Governments hesitance to respond to the situation is baffling. Rather than lead the way they are leaving it to organisations, colleges etc to make the call themselves and thankfully many are reacting but feel it’s happened way too late.

Schools, crèches colleges even nursing homes still operating. Its going to be tough and testing times ahead.

Unless someone on here has a PHD in science and infectious diseases/viruses then I think they should relax a little and stop slagging off the governments strategy FFS !!...the PM did say they may deviate from the current strategy and adapt as the days go on.

Have some faith in the scientists and health experts advising the government - we will only know in time if their strategy was the way to go.

CLUBS and Restaurants closed in abu Dhabi.

Surely cant shut pubs here

If work is suspended, gyms etc. Surely the pubs will be like the 70s/80s.
