39 mate.

Chelsea have 45 points with a possible further 51. Thus 96 is the maximum the closest challengers can get. We have 58 so 97 guarantees us the league. Though in reality, 90 will likely be sufficient, if not 85. Can't see Chelsea or rags or dippers winning all their remaining games

39 isn't it?

Chelsea are the closest challengers have 45 points and can get another 51 so 96 in total. We have 58 so to get 97 is 39 needed. 13 wins from 18 games.

Aaaarrrrgh too slow checking my maths and stats!!

39 I think:

The maximum that Chelsea can get is 45 + (17*3) = 45 + 51 = 96

If we get 97 we win outright (could be 96 on GD of course) and we have 58 already, so 97 - 58 = 39

That is, among other ways of getting 39 points, 13 straight wins. The 13th game from now is... at home to the scum.

And Imahemanbitch is out for another month too. Probably does them a favour cos he is over the hill but means they may have to splash the cash in the window. Who would want to join the poisoned dressing room with Mourinho still there. Maybe they will sign Jonny Evans for 80m and play him up front.

Even sweeter if we sealed it the game before, the scum then had to give us a guard of honour, and we destroyed them 6-0. What a sight that would be for the world's 6.3bn rags!

It wouldn't happen, they're too ungracious in defeat. I suggest we walk out with old style beat boxes on our shoulders awhile slurping a pint of milk. Just for shits and giggles.

I‘ve set a personal target of running the Manchester marathon on that weekend as well . Done loads of Cities ( NYC, Berlin, Zürich, Frankfurt etc ) but never my Home City ... so it will be a great weekend with City tonking them too and being there.

Compulsory week off innit?

Which because the manager can't play without him should drive him over the edge.

Gonzo is also out. For a month

That may suit them unfortunately. Martial or Rashford up too is probably their best option. Don’t know why he plays that donkey and the big nosed twat.

There are a few rags who are realising that Rashford gets over hyped because he came through their academy but is actually a bit of a headless chicken.

Good talent but imo has been totally mismanaged. His main attribute is his pace and 100% not his finishing. He does frighten defences when he runs at them but he is headless as others have mentioned. Needs a quality manager to develop him and bring the best out of him.

Doubt that. 6 billion of them are already shopping for a new club.
