The injury situation seems encouraging. Kompany could even be ready on Sunday and so could Delph. Stones trained fully yesterday and could also be ready on Sunday although Watford more likely. Silva on Sunday ‘ we will see’.

It worries me that Delph has another muscular injury. It may not be too bad but if this starts to happen as regularly as in the past, we really should bring a LB in. That's my main wish for January.

Hope Stones can get 15 mins or so in this one and then start vs Watford and then rest for cup matches and then start vs Liverpool

I see Woy says there's nothing special about City. The last 2 people to say that got slaughtered so I'm feeling good about tomorrow

Some Spanish journalist tweeting that Silva didn’t train today and is not in Manchester. Unlikely to feature tomorrow.

That's the headline, but it's not what he really said.

im very curious to see how Pep juggles the lineups for this and Watford with the 2 matches only being 1 day apart.

Silva missing out won't help, unless he's back in time for Watford. Kompany and Stones both recovering from various injuries presents a problem as well. they can't be played together which means Otamendi has to play both matches. Delph coming back from an injury means he likely won't play both either but luckily Danilo can put in a shift at LB--but that means Walker has to play both. unless Pep use Zinchenko vs Watford at LB and Danilo at RB with Delph and Walker in vs Palace.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

The stack of matches this time of year is well nuts - only another day or so until another game is due - seriously mad

Dead right, it is the same for all clubs and long may it remain so. These guys are fit enough . Don’t know what all of the fuss is about , it is better to play a game than fart around half the week in a gym.

I think Delph will start. He trained fully on Thursday. Most likely Otamendi and Mangala perhaps with Stones on the bench but Kompany may spring a surprise. Crucial Sane plays. I think he could have a lot of joy down the left. Palace’s right back gets precious little help defensively from Townsend. We will have had an extra days rest which ought to help. They had a tough match too against Arsenal.

Delph trained on Thursday? Are you sure mate? Great news if he did.

i don‘t need total football today. Just score one more goal than Palace, that‘ll do.

No Sane in the starting 11 and Jesus in for Aguero. Looks like it's the same team as Newcastle other than Aguero according to our Spanish journalist friend
