Only the insane want Pep out.
I have already made my feelings perfectly clear, I think we dropped a major bollock not backing Mancini at the time.I think it cost us domination of the Premier League. Many disagree with me, that is fair enough. Still, I think Pellegrini got a free lunch off the back of Mancini team, I also think Pep needs Mancini signings to pull him out the shit, because on the whole his Spanish friends signings have been Dog shit, particularly the defensive additions. It is even more perplexing he signed so many players, that lack even basic technical ability, fundamental to Guardiola system, knowing that Guardiola was coming, as far back as when he was deliberately undermining Mancini, and subsequently sacking him over 2 seasons ago, Yet here we are now, woefully unprepared to implement Guardiola system.
If anyone is to blame for our current predicament it is the Spanish DOF. Guardiola needs time, more than that; he needs some decent players to implement his style. I think the reality of that has dawned on him, with his recent reverting to a back 4.
I hope Guardiola is in control of targeting our new signings, or we re fucked in every sense of the word. We can’t afford any more abysmal signings.

Massive bollock not backing Mancini. Their treatment of him looks even worse in hindsight and I was furious enough at the time. They then undermined Pellegrini while they finally got the man they wanted. A man who looked a gibbering wreck at the latest press conference. Not sure he will last the season. Would be crazy to sack him, as what is past is past and we have to go forward as best we can from here, but I fear he will resign. At least he's lasted longer than Steve Coppell
