Just seen the score. Why they all kicked off so early?
Probably because there's so many games to fit in one night they have some kicking off at 6.00 and some at 8.05.
Quite possibly 20:00 local time in Turkey. Southampton game starts at St Mary's at 20:05. These Little League games are always staggered according to local time and the number of teams from each country - only 2 in our case!

I don't know why people slag the Thursday night games, I think they are quite amusing at the moment.

That would be logical but when have UEFA ever been logical with regard to televising games. Didn't we play at 11 at night in Russia just so the British public git there 8 o clock fix?
It's where it suits for TV, obviously not for the teams or supporters.

Well done the Saints, keeping the English flag flying in the Europa. All this in sprite of the referee giving Inter a lot of favours.

Just remember this Inter side is bottom of the EL group and 12th in Serie A.
A complete shadow of its former self. Nevertheless it will be given a berth in the CL next season thanks to Gill & Co.
