Is this the first time we could be off the top of the league?
Any 3 of Spurs, Arsenal or Dippers could be sitting pretty at the top of the league before we play tomorrow and looking at who they're playing I'd suggest that we'll be sat in third or forth.
I don't know why but I have this feeling that the home team can get something out of the first game this weekend.
Here's today's games.
SATURDAY 22ND OCTOBER 2016
Bournemouth v Spurs 12:30
Arsenal v Boro 15:00
Burnley v Everton 15:00
Hull v Stoke15:00
Leicester v Palace 15:00
Swansea v Watford 15:00
Hammers v Sunderland 15:00
Dippers v Brom 17:30

I changed mine last minute to Spurs 2-1 win. I don't mind being wrong on these occassions.

I fancy Bournemouth to at least get a draw. So I reckon 3rd place overnight.

Where's all the pressing that Spurs did on us?
Also, is Wilshire actually in the pitch, i fail to see what he is there for because he ain't playing football.

Some dodgy tackles going in from Spurs which are rightly carded but this Scottish commentator seems to think they're unlucky.

That's 3 Spurs players that should be off. Un-fucking-believable from the referee.

looking good sir.
so Tottenham beats us 2-0 but barely draws with West Brom, draws 0-0 with Leverkusen, and are now 0-0 with Boro. very odd.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

It's not odd at all you plastic cunt. It's football and it happens every team every season.
Anyway, good result for us. Do the business tomorrow and we open up a gap again on who I feel will be our biggest threat.

Arsenal are lucky to still be level with Boro. They just missed a one on one with the keeper and has a free kick hit the cross bar.

Boro should be 2 up..Nagredo playing shit and Arse goalkeeper playing a blinder.

Crikey, I've just noticed that Burnley are leading Everton 1-0, after scoring shortly before half-time.
At this rate, they could be in danger of doing a home double against both Liverpool clubs.

That's football for you. Last week Everton do nothing but defend and get a point ay City with their keeper having a blinder. This week they have all the game but lose at Burnley and the keeper doesn't have a blinder but helps with one of the Burnley goals.

Wish I could be as phlegmatic about such footballing ups and downs as you are Mr H.
But you're right and this kind of thing helps make the game as exciting as it is.
Still, I'm glad Everton sort of got their just desserts for last week against us, albeit by proxy as it were. Now I just hope West Brom can come up with something miraculous against Klipperty's mob tonight.

Not holding out too much hope for TP's men.
Liverpuddle will be on a high following their fine, flowing performance in the game against Mourinho's Champions elect, whilst West Brom will be without their defensive colossus, Jonny Evans, because of suspension.
It's a guaranteed home banker.
