Apologies if this should have gone in the 'Off Topic' section but, by all accounts, Harry Redknapp's wife has been injured in an accident involving his car.
It's been reported that he was dropping her off at the shops, but her coat was caught in the door and her foot was in the 'footwell' as he drove off.
She was dragged along and badly injured before he could stop and she's now in hospital.

Not sure how she could trap her coat in the door whilst still having her foot in the foot well. Unless she was trying to climb out of his window whilst he told a reporter that that Messi is a smashing lad and he tried to sign him for Bournemouth but Barca blew them out of the water.

I was at the barbers and (abject embarrassment) I read it in The Sun and this is how it was worded.
I'm surmising his car might have been something like a Range Rover, with some sort of running board where she trapped her foot.
Having said that, it was The Sun and you can't expect any sort of accuracy from that comic............mental note (i) Never read The Sun again (ii) If I do, don't quote verbatim without researching further (iii) Never read The Sun again.

Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
