Don't be like that C64. Let's have a beer on the train from Wigan tomorrow and discuss the best places in Wales.

[The CPS and the police, following instructions from their masters. That's what I meant when I said the system. The politicians dare not risk looking un-pc.[/quote]
Exactly - those 'masters' have bowed down to the feminist and do gooders' lobbies into making rape an offence where it is so easy for a woman drunk sober taken off the beer goggles or just plain vindictive, with more than a little assistance from the powers that be to send a man to jail for many years based just on her word, not even that in this case.
In some unis in America, the home of PC, men have to go through the passion killer of getting a randy and ready woman to sign a written consent form.
Women should also wake up to the fact that one day their Darling little son will not come home because he has been unfairly charged.
Meanwhile how many women got raped and murdered in Ipswich before the plod eventually got hold of that guy a few years back and one Sir Jimmy Saville and others in his profession got away with disgusting offences for donkeys years.

Hopefully someone or some people from the CPS have lost their jobs over this fiasco. Cost the taxpayer millions most probably, for what amounts to a drunken orgy and a case of he said / she said.
No winners, except for the respective legal teams. Both Evans' and the girls lives have been changed irrevocably for the worse, more so in Evans case as he had a promising career which has been severely curtailed and also not least because he actually did a number of years in the big house. The girl has had to change identity a couple of times which although is not on the same scale as prison, I would imagine is still a massive upheaval.
Hope Evans gets on with playing his game and he can now move up the leagues where his talents probably deserve

i see online that there is a go fund me page for the accusser to be sent off to Australia with 50K in her back pocket to start a new life - firstly, as someone who has lived there before, you can't just turn up in oz with 50 g's in your bank and expect to be allowed to stay unconditionally - visa rules are tougher than ever out there - so this is basically just a holiday for the girl to disappear for a year so this blows over and is forgotten about- I can't help but feel like the public is being hoodwinked yet again.
secondly, i am pretty appalled by certain areas of the media that are still pushing this "it was rape" agenda as if they know more about it than the lawyers, judge and jury who spent hours, days, weeks deliberating and pouring over evidence to come to the conclusion that there is reasonable doubt that a rape took place that night, despite the salubrious circumstances surrounding it - a young man should not rot in jail because of a concern that other cases of rape may not be reported.
