Sorry if I've pissed on anyone's chips.

Beating Spurs, at the moment, seems a pretty tall order.
Mind you, 'typical City' might prevail and, 'mirabile dictu' see us doing it.
What a thought
Edit....this sounds like a stupid post but I was replying to one made by Johny Crossan, which has now disappeared into the ether
I was very confused there for a few seconds,
thought I was losing my mind. Probably removed because we play Celtic first.
Apologies my friend; I know only too well what that's like.

On the nbcsn commentary, toward the end of the game they said summat like 'Guardiola has only dropped 14 points in league games since sometime in 2014!
I haven't checked it, but I did think WOW when they said it

But don't forget the footnote that says 'against shit teams in shit league's'.

anyone else worried that these kind of runs don't go on forever and with celtic and spuds on the horizon we might only draw a game at some point soon?

Just let's enjoy it while it lasts - The Invincibles! We've improved the margin of our lead at the top so we can take an unlucky defeat and stay there - Celtic really should not prove a problem - we are playing the team not the crowd!! Spurs & Everton are no great shakes either - none of them are - and that includes Barca......
This is the sort of delusional drivel I tell myself while worrying like you

No is the short answer. Prizes are handed out in May. We will lose and draw games this season, there is no question of that. As long as we get more points than our rivals we win the PL. with a bit of luck we may add a cup to that. From what I've seen this season so far we already look awesome and will only get slicker so the chances of us winning a pot or two are decent.

Yes. We've not played any of the likely PL title challengers yet.

We're playing the best footbal of the modern era, what else! But the problem for me now is ... HOW LONG COULD WE GO ON PLAYING AT THIS LEVEL!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

We've done it without Aguero, Silva, Sagna, Fernando,Delph, Gundogan, Sane, Kompany for significant periods even in this short time. Now Tin Tin has twanged himself - we shall overcome

as good as our attacking play is, we are not clinical enough and we have ridden our luck defensively. if we play as poor defensively against Spurs and Liverpool they will capitalise on it.
it's still very much a work in progress and you can see indecision at the back too often. it will come though, it just takes time.

For a few seconds, I was going there and you had me almost believing.
Then I read your last line and reality prevailed.
Thanks though.

They were actually pretty kind to us again I thought.
Gary Lineker was generally upbeat and Ruud Gullit, claimed both our penalty was legit and that it bodes well to not put in one's best performance and still win.
