We can't be looking at what any other club does.
We just concentrate on our own game and make sure we collect three points every time.

Just said similar to a Liverpool mate of mine
They have got Arse Chavs and Spuds away
out of their system . With No Europe .
No Europe is massive, helps them keep a fresh squad which they need as they don't have the quality in depth. Klippety has had a head start on the rest of the likely contenders too.

The first point doesn't come naturally to either players or fans. It's human nature to compare to your peers
The second point is bang on the money

You're absolutely right about the first point NB.
As always though, I tend to worry and, with all the optimism ongoing at the moment, I just hope we don't 'murder' Bournemouth and end up losing to a scrappy, fluke of a goal.
As ever, at the end of the day, I'd take a tight 1-0 victory and then on to the next obstacle to overcome.
But that's just me.

I get like that too Mik. It's the conditioning within us from years of supporting City and see them dropping a bollock.
You don't like to get carried away by a good run of games.
After all we won our first 5 games last season. The difference this year that I can see is that we are playing well and you can see improvement every game.
Flaws we knew about last season, like over reliance on certain players that we knew would miss half the season, seemed to have been addressed also.
Last season even after the first three games you could see cracks appearing regardless of the wins.
There is s very different feel this season.
I still go in hoping for a win, but what I'm seeing is just so enjoyable, I think I could take the odd blip in our record because you can just see the trend upwards and onwards.

Right now we look a step above everyone else in class and consistency. Early days yes, and Pool could end up challenging a bit if they can be more consistent, yet their defence is not all that, as is the case with most of the other contenders actually.
We got this it seems right now, but the season is long, of course. Chelsea's defence was a known weakness going in, being carried by strong defensive midfield play, particularly from Kante, but that's not going to be enough against some sides.

Serious issues there. Just when they wanted to fill the new stadium with glory hunters, they fall apart.

4-2. Game on. Of all the games today, I would never had had this one as a six goaler

Journalists on the Football Weekly podcast were actually mocking looking forward to the game actually, and then saying how they were not at all on Thursday.
