Hold on a minute, you mean he was

Ter Stegen manouevering it seems, wants a guarantee he'll be first choice in all competitions otherwise he's got an offer from City. Don't think Barca are likely to come out and agree with that, it would be rather unusual. Wonder why Joe hasn't turned out for us yet?

I have always been Pro-Joe and one of his staunchest defenders. However, I have never been a fan of his distribution and if we want better players, I would replace Joe with Ter Stegen all day long. We have seen how pep plays and how we have set up in the couple of games so far. This doesn't play to Joe's strengths and I don't think he will like it one bit.

It's a tough one. When Joe is having one of those matches he is absolutely class - see Barca away. But then he'll just make a stupid mistake in another match and cost us the three points.

Joe Hart still one of the top 5 keepers in Europe if not the world . Im sure he can tidy up his distribution and it is absolute madness to even think of replacing him now .

Joe is a top keeper but a poor sweeper keeper, his distribution has been poor for so long, I would love him to sort this out but I can't see it as he hasn't improved it whatsoever in recent years.

Top 5 in the world?! He's probably just about top 5 in premier league, let alone Europe or the world

agree with fidel - he's a top drawer keeper but theres better than him even in our league so top 5 in the world is a bit if an exaggeration

IMO Joe will be gone before the start of next season 2017/18 (at the latest).
He cannot and never will be able to play Pep's system of keeper/sweeper.
It is an ability. He does not possess it and he cannot acquire it.
It is a pity,
Joe is a top notch keeper and has been outstanding for us. Also, he comes across as a decent guy.
Sadly, empires are not built on sentiment.

Keep drinking the Stellas crazy man.
I'd have the german kid today. Joe's never going to be that guy. Ever. He knows it. Pep knows it. This dance is just about respect and maturity.
cheers
