Can I make a suggestion that we just do daily topics. This thread will quickly become as confusing and disorienting as Hodgeson trying to find his pants in the morning.

I think a daily for the groups and a round thread for the knockouts.

Wow. The most disinterested dancers at an opening ceremony I've ever seen. And they get Guetta to DJ English songs. How French!

Oh god I'm old. Beyond any doubt. This 'opening ceremony' just brought it home to me. Half assed 'can can girls' doing half assed handstands and then a guy milking applause for playing other people's music. Put the effing football on.

At the moment him, Griezman and Giroud are several levels below the rest. But strikers only need one goal to be a hero

Even Clichy would be a far better option.

France not looking like they are up to much. No surprise considering they haven't played competitively in over 2 years. I can't see them doing anything in this tournament if they're depending on the French Steven Fletcher for goals, he's shite.
