Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!
by BlueMoonUGA » Mon May 16, 2016 12:41 am
So, the season is over and we have to think of things to fill time. I prefer not to speak in hypotheticals but what the hell...
If you wer Pep Guardiola and today was your first day. What is your first order of business?
Who leaves?
Who stays?
Who do we bring in?
Who are the must haves?
Academy call ups?
Does anyone go out on loan?
A lot of things must happen with this squad, but let's remember this: The next time Manchester City take the field PEP GUARDIOLA will be our manager!
Cheers

My first order of business is to do my greetings, maybe a presentation of the Pep vision. I then meet with senior management to get every one on the same page.
Player in outs later in the week.
Attack the argument of the person, not the person of the argument- except Carl.

Gather the squad and the CEO, spell it out, look in there eyes. The not required players should be gone or on the way out before he gets back in June.
Get the signings done if possible. Ask Raheem Sterling what is going on with him as he has a ton of work to do to remain at City.

I'd be checking my contract to try and do a Dave Bassett and I'd be on the phone to PSG telling them I'd had a rethink.
Pep always takes the easy jobs, eh? Well we're about to find out how good he is

First rule is to get rid of the baggage.
Second is to spell out to the remaining players that they all have a role to play , depending on how they perform in training will depend on how much of a role they will play.
The players he is bringing in has already been set in motion - thats a certainty.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I think Kiddo will do this season and retire up to legends lounge or go back to youth/first team liaison.
I guess with Zaba it really is a case of seeing how he is after his operation to ankle, if it's something simple and he can be back for pre-season i can see him staying (being kept), any longer and i'm not so sure.

First thing I would do is review the next pre season. We did more air miles than any other club last year and quickly picked up lots of muscle injuries. The next thing I would do is avoid buying the injury prone players we have been linked with.

Tell everyone the slate is clean. That the next month of pre season will determine a number of futures. Then see what the players are about on the training ground.

Find out why the players are getting injured find someone to proper warm ups after all look at what that did to us and look how having no injuries won Leicester the title. Then scrap the shit version of blue moon thy play the Etihad just before kick off. Then tell the team to play every match with attitude and max effort every match every minute anyone going missing can stay fucking missing.

Locks of his hair should be an interesting one.
Is your address on Baker St. perhaps?
Cheers
