We really need an away goal. Two would be far better. Don't have to win. I can't see us shutting them out at the Etihad.

2-1 loss would be fine, 4-0 win would be okay as well.

2nd leg will be interesting without Otamendi after he receives a yellow today for one of his stupid trademark flying lunges

Serbian Officials tonight with man at the helm being Milorad Mažić

He last officiated over us in CL Dec 14 when we won 0-2 @ Roma. He booked Nasri & Zabba in that game.

Thought i'd dig up that match thread to see if he got any mentions.............. (bonus material included if you scroll down LOL)

Fearing the worst we just aren't the real deal this season and our defence without Vinny is a fucking shambles . Would willingly take a 2-1 loss right now and hope for some long awaited magic in the return leg at the Etihad .
Not really here

A dry bumming I fear.

The very best I can see is a narrow win. Got to say it's unlikely. A scoring draw would still be an outstanding result for us, preferably 2-2. A narrow loss, say 3-2 or 2-1 wouldn't be so bad.
However, I can see a disastrous 2-0 or 3-0 on the cards which effectively means tie over.

Having been someone who doesn't particularly care for the CL, (my primary focus would be PL every time), I am not too concerned if we do go out. Hopefully with the return of Nasri and KDB we can get back on track in the PL and make sure we are in the fucker next time around.

Hope Zlatan and Matuidi get yellows.
Can see a 2-0 or a 2-1 loss. Cant see a City win here

It's not my preferred competition but now that we're at the stage anything can happen as Chelsea and Liverpool showed. Both finished outside the top four and won it and I'd have that for sure.

I want to win this bitch once and then I couldn't give a fuck after that. I want to see us overtake the rags on league titles won. A long shot in my lifetime I know but not half as much of a long shot as what has happened us already.

I can't see us winning here- I think they haven't lost any of their last 37 european home games on the trot- but as most are saying, a draw is doable and a narrow loss certainly is.

Let's go for it!

Pretty much. Assuming KDB will be in the no. 10 role again as well. Hope he doesn't show exhaustion after only a few days rest and clearly nowhere near top fitness levels. Nasri isn't on the team sheet either (I am assuming we left him off the squad list), but Delph is.

Will have to watch on replay as usual for weekday games. C'mon City!!

Going to go with 1-1. Heart says 1-2. Head says 1-2, so I'll stay in the middle.

Just can't be optimistic at all. We're so inconsistent I fear the dry bumming predicted above. Anything that isn't that, I'll be happy with.

They gave chelski plenty of chances so I think we will score tonight, problem is, the other end...
3-1, anything better would be great, just as long as we're in with a shout for the second leg.
We have received a few slappings this season, but hopefully not tonight.

Hard to feel positive about a result but if we play well you never know. I just hope the linesmen are on the ball.

At least pastore and verratti are out. Were missing some big players as well but it could be worse. Time for a big European performance from a few of ours

By the way, listening to the pregame on FS1 and I never knew brad friedel hates us so much... (edit: seems they have the knives out for us on BT Sport as well why the fuck is camelgob out there?!) Time to shut some cunts up tonight

Come on City!!!

We'll miss Vinny but hopefully not too much. We'll also miss Sterling and Yaya at least as options off the bench. I think otherwise it's our strongest side. PSG are very strong at home so a score draw would be a brilliant result.
