Euros.

I also think word was we were "willing to" so not quite agreed.

Buuuut...he also just got a "nasty" injury Thursday where he was stretched off for the French under 21s.

Even players we target are cursed!

An unproven young French defender for an absurd transfer fee, what could possibly go wrong?

Speaking of which, if Laporte comes then Mangala is surely on his way out?

If you ask me, Mangala was better (when fit), than Otamendi. With filth he managed to play well.

I am still undecided about Mangala as a player. There are occasions when he looks the real deal and then he will fuck up spectacularly. Whether it is to do with him as a player or the way the team is set up, who knows?

He looks all over the place in some moments, but I think he can be better.

I reckon shirts with his name on the back are already hanging in the club shop.

Been saying the same to my missus, Mangala is quicker, stronger , better in the air and a better passer than the Otter imo

better passer... hmm..really? Not sure I see that so clearly. He's so inconsistent, even though Nico isn't THAT consistent, goes to ground far too far too often, and takes a lot of risks.

better in the air meaning what? Nico gets up there, and had a big header to help Argentina seal a win. I have seen Mangala getting beaten in the air more than I think he should, but I think that's because of timing, not athletic ability/strength.

Mangala over Otter all day, when he plays like he'd V the scum, yes looks dodgy at times. You have to look at the tactics of Pellers when that has occurred.
Otter has made himself look ridiculous at times with his diving in and his ability to let the ball bounce. I don't think it will happen though,

Left sided defenders tend to be a bit rarer than right sided ones, so one with all the attributes of Mangala will probably get a chance under Pep. I think with a new system to play, and some input from a new manager he could surprise a few people.

Mangala should be given another season, pep might bring out the player in him.

We tried to loan Mangala out last summer. Has he genuinely shown enough to change the hierarchy's mind?

That Laporte can fuck off. Broke his ankle cos he went down clutching his face like Otamendi. Karma. Don't want any more dying swans embarrassing us.

Reports today that City want first team football for Angus Gunn for next season and Wigan is the rumoured destination right now. Wouldn't be bad at all assuming he'd be no.1

Wigan are coming up to the championship this season too. So it will be a decent standard if true. Wigan currently have Jaaskelainen in goal. He has played in 29 of their 39 league games this season but he is 40 now and surely should be close to retirement or being a backup option.
