I too have been struggling a bit with this one as i really do not want to see the career of Nedum Onouaha stunted in any way.

However, another quality player joining the squad ..... it can't really be a bad thing, which ever way you look at it.

We've well overpaid ..... but as I've said on here before, what we pay for players really doesn't matter anymore.
Relax ... It's only a message board in hyperspace!!

I agree totally. Although I hear what you're saying and completely agree with your sentiments about Ned, I think that having similar options at the back that we've got up front can only help Manchester City and that's much more important than Neds career right now. Especially with all eyes on us a willing us to fail.

To be able to choose our back four from: Zabba, Richards, Dunnie, Ned, Toure, Lescott, Kompany, Bridge and Sylvinho can only be seen as a good thing when you're looking for strength in depth.

I agree that we don't wanna see Ned's career hampered in anyway - but if you listen to Khaldoon Al Mubarak on yesterday's video interview, it's clear that they hold him in high regard.

i have a feeling as soon as it's announce on the site you will copy and paste it here, which should make IBH very happy. im starting to warm up to this ecosystem we're evolving. i mistakenly thought it was sometimes wasteful or garbage, but i was wrong. Mutual symbiosis rules the day.

maybe we realise that lescott has cut all his ties with everton and cant really go back
everton have also spent 10m of his money already on the russian winger

hence we now can call all the shots for once with a players wages and maybe aint offering him as high as he once wanted
we can now haggle and pay him 75-80k instead of 95 as once reported
i dont know but an inkling.. im sure at end of day there will be alot of good business men working at city too and for once player cant hold us to ransom over wages
slowly the tables are changing.. in future players will want to join us and we wont have to pay over odds n stupid wages to get them here
