Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

So, they had a good look at all the angles. All the contributing factors as to why Guardiola will choose his club.
And they came up with Arsenal being "the perfect fit"?
Their agenda is so blatantly obvious in everything they do.

Ted on a Shaun Custis topc 2011, Re: sean custis....
Postby Ted Hughes » Wed Sep 07, 2011 11:47 pm
Cleverly & Wellbeck will end up at West Brom.
Capello won't have a problem with what Barry & Milner did, as they did pretty much what he wanted them to do. If he gets pressure to play more of the glory boys though, one or both will be benched. Personally after watching a recording of both games, I thought England looked like more of a team than they have in many years; very few glory balls & an attempt to play together.
If you swapped Lampard for David Silva it would all work. We need a player like that.
Smalling has dropped more serious defensive bollocks in two games than Micah or Lescott have in their whole england careers btw.
I watched Custis yesterday he hates us.

He actually came round to giving us a reasonable press
City and sniffing knickers.

Another one who constantly slagged us for the way Hughes was ousted. Bad old City were actually talking to Mancini while Hughes was still in the job. Do some of these people think that a club sacks a manager and then the board sit down and say "right lads, who are we going to employ now after getting rid of the last manager?"

Henry Winter used to be very anti City. Then one day he seems to have been hosted by Brian Marwood for a whole day, explaining the plans for the academy and the plans in general, self-sustainability etc.
Since that Damascus moment he has been as pro-City as possible in his line of work, as blues2win says.
Ollie Holt had a similar experience I believe.
Maybe they just torture and brainwash them for a day?
Worth pointing out that neither has been granted as many appearances on Suppository since!!!

Blimey, Neil Custis was positively gushing about our academy and Sergio this morning.
He ripped into LVG too and the filth in general. Although maybe that's not that surprising at the moment, but fun nevertheless.

Rodgers has just bigged Sterling up big time on Goals on Sunday. Would have been easy for him to stick the boot in after what Sterling's agent has said, but Rodgers, unlike most Liverpool fans have since Sterling has left, has admitted what a talented player Sterling is and against what the media says said he was a brilliant lad off the pitch and worked hard. Got a bit of respect for Rodgers for that.
