Did I miss something? SSN would suggest that the dippers had a big win today. I'm sure it finished scoreless. Must go to specsavers.

It was the Second Coming of the new Messiah. Apparently he walks on water, feeds the five thousand and parts the seas as part of his daily routine. The scoreline was merely an irrelevance in his great unveiling.
BANG as forty thousand dippers fell back to earth

United player scores equaliser.
City player cost 54 mill scores winner.
Bevan for the BBC needs to tell or remind everyone how much our players cost. Defensive pairing , winning goal scorer.
The BBC rags reporter Magowan makes no mention of how much they cost.

Despite being marginally second best in an open and entertaining game, a team shows great resilience to come from behind and win 2-1 at the Etihad.
When Juventus do this, it is all about them digging in, being street wise and how the result is the most important thing.
When City do this, it is all about the poor performance, "defensive frailities", "tactical naivety", "flat atmosphere" and "lack of desire".

The rags were renowned for performances like that under Taggart. Fight till the end, resilient, played to the whistle etc etc. The media are just haters

Man City top of the English Premier League .
Man City top performing English club in the CL this season despite being in the toughest group yet again .
Man City release outstanding ground breaking financial figures last week .
Man City reveal further ground expansion and increased capacity plans
Man City score 11 goals in there last 2 premier league games conceding just 2 goals .
No it's all negativity in the media about MCFC today ???? Well fuck off you biased jealous cunts you are a fucking disgrace to the words "journalism" and 'media " !!!

There are a fair few ex-city in the media, but in our recent past we have only really had players last a few years at the club before the revolving door revolved! It's unrealistic to expect them to have any great affection for the club over any other they played for. I don't see it as a narrative issue, its simply that there is nobody who has spent the large part of their career at City in the media besides Quinn.
That will change in the years ahead now that we have a fair number of players who've done the bulk of their career at city, such as Kompany, Hart, Zabba, Silva, Toure etc.

I think Vinnie will go into management - he strikes me as the type. He'd be a good pundit though.

Another positive story on the MEN site, looks a major coup if true:
Manchester City's Etihad Stadium to become new home for specialist football university
The University College of Football Business (UCFB) will invest £5m in setting up a campus for 3,000 students at Man City's newly expanded home creating 350 jobs. Plans for the groundbreaking new campus were announced at the stadium today
Students will be able to study for a football-themed degree inside Manchester City's Etihad Stadium.
The University College of Football Business (UCFB) was set up in 2011 to provide training and experience to those aspiring to work within the sports industry.
Operating out of their base at Burnley FC's Turf Moor ground, they also opened a base at Wembley in last year.
Earlier this week, they agreed with Spanish giants Real Madrid with students being able to spend time at the graduate school run by the ten times Champions League winners.

Yes, I could also see Kompany going into City management, coaching, or being fast-tracked, like Patrick Vieira has been... Here's a wonderful interview with Vincent, from NBCSport, in which he discusses all of these future matters & the upcoming derby:

Nipped on SlySports website this morning - main story is rags all over LvG. A story about Klopp. Another meaningless story. The only story about us on their front page was about the booing, just above a story about Andy Carroll wanting to play for England.
We're the only English team to have qualified!!! Fuckin scum!

Daily mail is no different on their site. It's all about the rags and Maureen and eventually get to the booing and after that there is a match report.

They must have. Surely. A resounding 1-0 thrashing at home which spurred on the media frenzy must be because of the awesomeness of their performance
