My thoughts, and surely many others, exactly. I literally said this over the weekend.
And I said the same in the Moaninho thread.
I think everyone sees it.

It underlines the street-smarts our team has, for how we dealt with him this season. Fernie sorted him out then our central defenders made sure he couldnt get to Fernie for revenge at half time. I bet he thinks twice before trying it on against us next time too.

Costa - violent conduct.
Gabriel - improper conduct.
Both teams charged for failing to control their players.
No way is Costa getting away with that.
Maureen should be charged for condoning those actions by stating he was MotM.

Excellent news. A three match retrospective ban must surely beckon, why else would they be charged?

I think that a three match ban for the odious one is nowhere near enough.
He'll just simmer down a bit when he returns then go back to being a first class neanderthal.
Something harsher is needed, not sure what though.

In hindsight Gabriel was so fucking naive that it's comical. Koscielny ignored the cunt to the extreme even after getting battered. Twice.
You can't let Costa get under your skin. He's proven himself capable of being the hugest twat in football so you know that going in.
Either way it's all good news on both counts. Dean should get a spanking bigger than either player tbh. Ridiculous stuff he let happen on his watch. Football needs another ref to patrol each their own half. These cunts can't keep up with things. And who could? Still doesn't absolve the way dean handled it tho.
Cheers

Good old Kurt Zouma saying they all.know Costa is a cheat and that's the way they like it. Then screaming he was misquoted and misunderstood as English isn't his 1st language. The lad can speak perfect English and cheat is a word you don't get mixed up ha ha ha

We don't even need Zouma to admit that Costa is a cheat... Diego has actually admitted that he will literally do anything, just to win a match.
Here's a direct Costa quote from Feb, 2015:
“The street had been my school,” Costa said. “I fought with everyone. I couldn’t control myself. I insulted everyone, I had no respect for the opposition – I thought I had to kill them. Boys who grew in academies are taught to control themselves and respect others, but no one ever told me otherwise. I was used to seeing players elbowing each other in the face and thought it was the norm.”Read more at

There have been others, Shrek, Gerrard, Suarez to name just three, but Costa, for me, is the worst of the lot. A really harsh thing to say but I'd happily see someone break his leg
