Was he responsible for either goal?
Cheers

He's not going to learn if he doesn't get a chance to fail. Really hope this kid can make it. This is a big step up for him realistically so I'm not surprised.
Cheers

To think he should have gone and anchored a championship defence aswell, pah.
This move to Turkey will do him good.

Is there any release in the loan does anyone know? He must be the equal of MDM I'd have thought at the moment. Maybe in January? It will be a tough run in and another body could be invaluable

As far as I am aware, a season long loan cannot be changed without providing the loaningredients club with a mutually agreed fee that has to be ratified as worthy and required by UeFA.
In other words we can get him back but would have to end up paying to bring our own player home and the second part is in case we meet them in Europe. Like courtois (atletico madrid) and Chelsea. Meaning you can't just exercise a clause because he is one of the opposition s best players.

Interesting to see such a high buy out clause in a young player, either we are serious about keeping him or looking to make a killing.... Let's hope we keep
Man City wonder-kid would cost Galatasaray £30m says football director Cenk ErgunJason Denayer has managed to establish himself as a first-team regular in the Galatasaray side after joining from Manchester City on loan over the summer.
Galatasaray are interested in extending his stay but director of football Cenk Ergün revealed that it will cost the club £30 million to activate his release clause.
“It will not be easy to transfer Jason we have a £30 million release clause which we would struggle to match under the current circumstances,” Ergün told Fanatik.
Denayer has provided one assist in five appearances in all competitions for Galatasaray and has already become a fan favourite.
The 21-year-old defender has found himself playing in an unfamiliar role of a right-back but has managed to keep Lions veteran full-back Sabri Sarıoğlu out of the team.
Denayer has had no trouble settling into life in Turkey in fact he has already developed a taste for one of the most popular drinks in the country; tea or çay (chai) as the locals call it.http://www.turkish-football.com/man-cit ... enk-ergun/?

If he's getting regular game time and doing well, I don't care where they play him. Look at our predicament with full backs at the moment.
Him playing there is no different than the way our academy players get put all over the park as part of their development. Going by the reports, it doesn't seem to be negatively affecting him. Hope he comes back to the squad next year, a more rounded player for the experience.

How old are our current rightbacks? (I'd rather see him playing centrally though).

No problem with him playing at right-back at all. He's learning new skills, doing really, really well and in general becoming a more well rounded player. Makes him more useful for the first team next season too, meaning he can be a RB as well as a CB.

If he'd been loaned out over here it would have been at a higher level than league one.

With the Otter playing well and Mangala still young and looking decent at the start of the season maybe JD will be coming back as a right back next year? Unfortunately I don't think Zaba has got it anymore which is heartbreaking to watch.
