I think this was proven at Swansea yesterday. I don't think Utd would have lost there with De Gea in goal.
Absolutely. That was an abysmal effort by Romero.
Thought Navas had a decent world cup, if he's who I'm thinking of, but he struck me as bring a bit erratic.
They'll miss De Gayer.

Sounds a bit low. Hopefully we do it low and include hefty sell on clauses

You'd have thought in this day and age, people would have watches that work & faxes that send paper work as fast as emails...

Marca headline 'Surreal De Gea not coming to Real'. Both sides blaming each other for paper work fuck up. Who's betting that the Spanish federation will 'discover' that the papers arrived in time after all. Obviously if De Gea stays so does Navas.

Story now seems to be that United sent the documents in time but Real couldn't open the document! They'll be let off the fuck up of course. Imagine if Almeria or Getafe had done the same. No chance.

La Liga say documents did not arrive in time. 'UEFA will look at it tomorrow'. I think I know what that means.

There is a pretty definitive precedent. Bryan Ruiz was denied a loan move from Fulham to Levante because the papers arrived 1 minute late. FIFA said no to the appeal. Apparently de Gea's papers arrived 28 minutes late. Very difficult for FIFA to wriggle out of that.

United spinning they're perfectly happy if the deal has terminally collapsed. De Gea said to be distraught that the deal has not gone through. I wonder how United expect to get the best of him.

The European Championships surely will have a bearing on this now.
