Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Seems to be the average number of losses a team can have and still win the league. Chelsea only lost three last year and we actually lost 6 (or 7, don't remember) the year before, but about five seems right.
Let's just say everything goes according to plan but we still get the average five losses before the season's over, to whom and where would you rather lose it?
Tottenham away (so as to contribute to them taking fourth this season and overcoming either Arsenal or the Rags)
Bournemouth away (because it seems impossible to not like their manager)
Newcastle away (because we're bound to lose to them sometime and it might as well be this year so that we can get it over with and continue to batter them for the next 15 years or so before we lose again. Also, I have a soft spot for them.)
Tottenham home (Same as above)
Bournemouth home (because it seems impossible to not like their manager)
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Average of 5 losses, 33 draws, invincibles who escape relegation.
Does me.

My wife asked me who i wanted to win Scouse filth vs Arsenal yesterday and i said "Well, i'd prefer a 0-0 draw, where after the match is officially completed..ISIS paratroop in and behead everyone on the pitch, starting with the managers but including all the kit men and the physios and the linesmen and stewards."
She was unimpressed.

Nobody liked the concept, but this thread made me smile anyway :)

can't see us losing to spuds home or away. we always score a lot of goals vs them, besides that one game towards the end of mancini's last season. Their defence is a shambles.
Still here.

Women eh?
That seems a perfectly reasonable hoped for outcome.

The thought has crossed my mind, but I don't think so. It's a big ask in the league these days, when arsenal did it 10 + years ago the league wasn't as tough in my view.
