In case you missed it...

Jamie Jackson actually wrote that Sterling is the signing of the season, and predicts Aguero to be player of the year.

Pellegrini has said he is "sure" we will win the title. nothing like adding some pressure from the start.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

He knows something we don't ;-)

Just had Graham Souness on SSN who actually tipped us for the title. Jim White nearly fell off his chair!

We're reaching the tipping point where they can't ignore us anymore. Sterling may have been slatted across all the papers, but the truth is, they are absolutely shit scared of his talent. Linking with Silva and Aguero? possible KDB? Yaya behind ... honestly I don't think there has been an attack as talented as that ever in the PL.

Mouthwatering isn't it. And Bony hasn't even been mentioned. Or Nasri, who if played right, can be a very dangerous player. Mentioned in another thread I think we can join the 100 goal club again.

I think nasri can be an asset, and I expect Bony to do excellently with the chances he has ... if we're only playing 1 up top he may be limited at first though.

I would just love to be a fly on the wall as opposing managers work out how they're going to deal with sterling's pace and movement, while also keeping silva under pressure and/or double covered as has been happening for the past 2 seasons at least.

Souness admitted, as a Dippers fan, that he thought Sterling should have stayed at their for a couple of seasons more but realised he was off to a better place.

Henry and Redkapp were up next to get it back on track with chavs taking the league but had to say we were the nearest challengers and Sterling would learn more from Yaya, Silva and Aguero than any other team

Great praise indeed.

It's all well and good and positive talking about silva sterling bony aguero etc etc, a huge amount to be very positive about there, but saying we will win it depends upon a lot of factors all falling into place, we need a lot to go our way, maybe too much.

Just like any other club, we have a chance.

As long as we enjoy the ride and feel part of it, we'll be back next season.

In case this hasn't been posted elsewhere, most of the Daily Mail sports writers have made their season predictions...including some nice compliments for some City players! Although not selected by most of the writers to win the PL title, City made the Top 4 teams of every list.
City was also predicted to win the FA or League Cup, by many of the writers. Ian Ladyman chose Sergio Aguero as his favourite PL player.

Neil Ashton also created his fantasy PL team for the season, including Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero... With Sergio chosen as Captain, instead of Yaya.... Capitán Kun!
