Well done to you, even though it is quite sobering.
Mikhail, it was our shared opinion about not properly replacing Negredo, that inspired the reseach... I'm really glad that it was helpful and of interest.
The optimistic flipside is that there is only one team that has remained in the Top 2 positions, for the last 4 years... No, it's not Chelsea, not Utd, not Liverpool, not Arsenal... Yes, it's City and long may they stay at the top!
but honestly we've replaced Negredo literally with Bony. So, heading into this season we should have that base covered. Bony should do on par with what Negredo did if he plays regularly imho. Now it's replacing the outgoing Jojo and Jayko and i think we'll only be in for one more striker if both go. Sterling really is viewed I believe as a striker, or a false 9, or a No 10, whatever you want to fucking call it on the day depending on who else he plays with. He'll play up front, obviously. And will likely be one of the first names on the team sheet.
cheers
cheers
Mmmmmm
I certainly hope you're right in this assessment but, at this point in time, I still need to be convinced.
I suppose that's the curse of being a pessimist.

But but but....Zlatan?
zlatan is my weakness ... i'd have him in a heartbeat. There goes my argument!

he's so good at so many things.
Isn't it also true that he's never NOT won the league title of any team he's been on? That's fucking amazing.
cheers

Whilst the youngsters are looking good, we still have a good mix of youth and mature players.
We don't need to sell anyone, so we can confidently use a combination of resources to meet the tournament. We are in four again,so we will need all options. Especially as we know from previous seasons , kun will have fitness issues.
What's the point in keeping a player that doesn't want to be here?
Has he actually said he wants to leave ?

he never wants to leave...he just Zlatans his way into the next gig almost effortlessly.
If Pep comes we can guarantee Zlatan wouldn't be.

Good luck to the big man, although frustrating at times he was part of our biggest achievements for many years.
That header that brought us back from the brink is over looked by many, but not me. Without that there was no Aguuuuueeeerrrrrrrrrrooooooooooooooooo.............?
Beautiful.

It's a strange situation. He agreed personal terms but the clubs have not agreed a fee. I'm assuming they must be close. I wonder if he will sign before Jovetic

it's overlooked by almost no one. No idea why you think that. Jayko's contributed a lot to both title runs. Fans know that. Which is why this is bittersweet.
he's also been an absolute joke at times and embarrassingly lacking in effort and class.
Ess normulll.
cheers

Look maybe you are the smartest dude In a wrecking ball crew of fuckwits and alcoholics who barely pays attention to what really happens. I've seen many fans like that. Not judging but just saying that I can't think of anyone I respect who doesn't know the BozSpaz did contribute. Often.
And he's also the dzonkey. Not mutually exclusive shit.
And ily2. Xxx

Potentially down to 2 strikers then? Not good with Aguero's injury habit :-(

Three if you count Iheanacho. Sterling can also fill in as a striker.

Yes, but we had 4 out and out strikers in our title winning season, to go down to 2 now seems madness.

There's no need for Edin to go, other than he wants to. We need quality strikers like Edin, as you say it would be madness to let him go.
