Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Apparently we are 'serious' about the Sevilla manager Emery. A Spaniard I work with (Real Madrid season ticket holder) says there are strong rumours is his homeland about this.
Apologies to our those younger members who won't have a clue about the thread subject!

I saw this or another article very similar, the morning after Seville won Europa & I immediately thought.... Lazy press link us with a manager who has success in Europe (albeit the Europa).
The minute city touch down Back in the UK from America surely we will know one way or the other if Pellers will or will not be here next season.
Personally I think and hope he is, after all these years, I'm not one of those who have turned into a plastic rag who expects us to win everything every year. Some of our fans need to buy themselves a mirror.

No, I think he's a decent manager but I don't see our owners wanting him.

Fairly certain after Sunderland he said he's retiring.

So you're not an advocate for this Spanish fella then?
Cheers

It would be very odd if city replace Pellers after the US trip, wont the owners want more stability and players to gell with the manager ?? I am sure we wont treat Pellegrini so harsh that he will be taking the team for pre-season trips only to find out he has been fired.
I dont see this happening !!

100% agree and that is what I eluding to above, I'm guessing that the other who've posted references to Dick Emery also agree/think likewise, it's a nothing story. Unfortunately SOME still want Pellers gone, Lord knows why, actually I do, they've become too spoilt too soon......

I don't believe for a single second they are replacing Pellers, nor should they.
Next season he's out of contract and may be looking at retiring. Klopp said he's taking time off so may still be available, Pep is out of contract as well. Has Ancelotti picked up another job yet? Does seem that if the plan is to replace him, the timescale should be in 12 months and not before.
Quite frankly I hope he signs a new contract and takes us to the title next year and the media can shut the fuck up about how overrated he is.
