Well that's the dippers missing out on the champs league. Rodgers has done s great job though. Having spent over £215m in his first two years and having not won a trophy, you can see how brilliant he has been. No doubt Sky and their pundits will agree.

I thought it was 3 years? Still, hell of an investment for fuck all to show for it.

Yes, he has been there 3 years. I think he spent £215m in his first 2 years (transfer league.com) but not sure if he spent in Jan 15.

Well, Sergio is not in the team of the season this year. Maybe a touch of bias. Loading TV pundits with ex rags and dippers causes this IMO.

Lallana was awful. Ibe looked really promising. Henderson, Lambert, etc. are players who would look out of place in any decent team.
Liverpool are back to square one they were when KKK was sacked.

But minus two hundred million or thereabouts in the bank. Superb.
At least the city's candle makers are doing ok

Hopefully - I was a bit "oh for fucks sake" when I saw they were starting without any strikers but I'd be happy if they nick a point

Why are you lot watching that when there's playoffs on?
Swindon 5, Sheff Utd 3 (aggregate 7-4).
5-4 now!
Very QPR-esque defending though. Preston will have them for breakfast if Swindon will play like this at Wembley

Starting to look like one of those nights for Arsenal. They've had a few chances to put it in the net. Swansea are getting tired though.
