Can I get some info from the locals about tomorrow please?
At the start of the season I booked a hospitality package for the QPR game, it was originally pencilled in for Saturday 9th 3pm but as we all know this changed.
I need to be in the Etihad for 11am, I'm 2 and a bit hours from Manchester and have a hotel booked on Deansgate, but the Run is on!
Just wondering if anyone could shed any light on a route open to Deansgate and then the best way to get to the Etihad quickly?
Cheers lads!

https://www.greatrun.org/great-manchester-runDunno where it goes but there is a map of the route on that page. You should be able to suss it out from that & figure out any detours if needed, from google maps.
Best I can do.

Cheers Ted!
I went to college in Manchester so should remember it a bit better, my memory has declined in 18 years sadly :-(

My advice is leave very early. Give yourself as much time as possible as the city centre will be a nightmare. If possible, park outside the city and get a return tram ticket for etihad Campus. Get off at deansgate, check in to the hotel, then jump back on the tram as they are running normally despite the run.

Check the price of a day ticket for the tram as well, mate. It may work out cheaper.

Cheers lads.
I've just spoken to the hotel concierge, he also said it is a complete nightmare, so I have now contacted City to see if my car parking pass will cover us overnight.
To be fair the girl @ City Hospitality was very apologetic, admitting the schedule change is a nightmare and she will try her best to help out, fingers crossed!
