It is a hard one this, I was struggling to think of a player who had been consistently at a good level - and unfortunately looking through that list, it appears there really haven't been any, perhaps except for Demichelis who has been consisent but not outstanding.
Ultimately the thing that's kept us afloat though have been Aguero's goals. I don't think he works hard enough, I don't think he makes enough intelligent runs or shows for players the way he could, but somehow, he has scored a hell of a lot of goals, so for me he is the only choice.
