Ladies and Gents, its almost that time of the year, Who gets your vote?
I personally think you couldnt look past Aguero, Hart or Silva, however, its all about opinions

Kun for me. Despite his slump in form, he's been pivotal for us this season.
Hart's a close second, though. I think his distribution has improved (even though it's still below par) and he seems to have worked on keeping his concentration for the full 90 minutes - he makes less howlers than previous seasons.

Aguero is the only City player who has played at a level consistently good enough to get in Chelsea's team imo. In spite of rarely being fit.
Nobody else even deserves a nomination.
The sort of season Richard Dunne would win it. For being Richard Dunne.

Why isn't there a 'none of the above' option?

Only one for me Kun. Up there with the best forwards in world football. A joy to watch when fit and in full flight.

Kun instead of Dun in a shit season. How far have we come?
If Kun stays fit all year, i know i know but let's just say it out loud, we'd have pissed the league imho.
cheers

It is a hard one this, I was struggling to think of a player who had been consistently at a good level - and unfortunately looking through that list, it appears there really haven't been any, perhaps except for Demichelis who has been consisent but not outstanding.
Ultimately the thing that's kept us afloat though have been Aguero's goals. I don't think he works hard enough, I don't think he makes enough intelligent runs or shows for players the way he could, but somehow, he has scored a hell of a lot of goals, so for me he is the only choice.

Because, in reality, someone will be voted it, even the relegated teams have a player of the year!

It does feel a bit Richard Dunn-ish, only one candidate and he's not been fully fit for the last 4 months.

You have to ask yourself where we'd be in the table were it not for serges goals - then the answer is easy

Wake up, Sleeping Beauty, you've missed a year.
On this basis, do we need to sell Aguero quick?

He's got a mouthful of Aleks while Al reads him bedtime stories. Hard to vote when you have to use two hands.
