Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

You are brought up in Spain & get Barca playing such an extreme style of football, on the go 24 7, concentrating on nothing but that, for years, then you leave & turn up at Chelsea a month later, with your head full of all kinds of shit, you are not likely to succeed.
Agree completely.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

so Pep is apparently going to be available in 2016, people are saying we should give Pellegrini another season and try and get Pep in at the end of next season.
What happens if Pellegrini wins the league next season?

Guardiola could, just as easily, go to the Scum at the end of next season.
IMHO, if it happened that Pellegrini was to win the League again and managers such as Ancelotti were no longer available, we should give Pellegrini another year after that, all the while grooming Vieira to take the reins in what would be two years' time......
......unless we could get Frank Rijkaard.

Then I'll jism my pants and build a statue of the old cunt in my garden. Using paper mache and decoupage.
Cheers

Isn't it. I thought they made a lot worse fist of it than we did.
Incidentally, I used to enjoy watching Barca years ago. It's just a bore fest watching them now. Both of last night's games were over after the first half and found them hard to watch.
PSG were as bad. Neither looked interested second half. It was like watching a practice kick around.

Having seen what they are actually like in 'real' life (cheating bastards), I've gone right off them.

Guardian reporting bayern wants to renew his contract.
Bayern's chief executive:
“I am also aware that Begiristain worked with Guardiola at Barcelona at some point. But I cannot imagine that Pep would go to a club like Manchester City.”

Perhaps he will if our president goes to prison for tax evasion.
