Other Games 14/3-18/3 Thread

Postby Slim » Sat Mar 14, 2015 11:34 am

Starting with the Premier League today...finally, not really anything to stop your life for though. Maybe Arsenal v WHU, but I suspect Arsenal will walk all over the hammers as they succumb to end of season fatigue against a superior squad.

12:45 Crystal Palace vs QPR
15:00 Arsenal vs West Ham United
15:00 Leicester City vs Hull City
15:00 Sunderland vs Aston Villa
15:00 W Brom vs Stoke City
17:30 Burnley vs Manchester City

Surprising but nice to see SWP in the starting eleven.

Pretty terrible opening 15 minutes though. I keep telling the telly to give it to Shaun.

QPR in complete freefall here, this could be an embarrassing afternoon for them.

Bolasie is almost good. But it's hard to really judge him due to some of the oppo he faces & the teams he plays in.

The crosses they have just scored from are the same ones teams just walk away with, when Navas does it.

Robert green must be fistfucking his fullbacks at this very moment. Despicable performances thus far.

Matthew Phillips with a wonder stike. Longest goal in the league this season, 45 yards out.

If this was a typical title race, involving the Sky teams, Chelsea would be close to the rags right now, Arsenal would drop points today, then Spurs would turn up at the swamp, the rags would shit themselves, Spurs would double shit themselves, miss 3 open nets & lose comfortably to a poor rags performance, then Chelsea would draw 0-0 with Southampton & Liverpool would have a meltdown.

Rags would stroll out of the weekend sitting pretty on top having done precisely fuck all to deserve it.

Taking Chelsea out of the equation, it will be interesting to see how the others do re the Wenger Trophy, & whether the rags' supernatural ability to come out on top without actually doing anything, remains.

Pretty entertaining London derby at the moment. Adrian has kept it even but Nolan had a great shot saved at the other end.

That may easily happen this weekend in the race for top four. Arse look already like they might easily drop points today

Quite annoying to watch this arse game as I don't know whether I'm hoping for a home win here or a loss for whinger

Chambers is eventually going to be responsible for WHU taking the lead here, as soon as Jarvis has someone to aim at.

What a goal from Norwich to put them 1-0 up v Derby. Brilliant play, brilliant goal

Villa also two nil up and Sinclair missed a sitter. Surprisingly entertaining game this and 0-3 now!

There's some angry scenes from the home fans, throwing their scarves and season tickets at the dugout
