I find it very encouraging to see Scott Sinclair doing ok at that level, as we've had the chance to see him in direct comparison to the kids we have in the EDS etc, & imo they are considerably better than him.
If he can do it, then they can, right now.
A lot of those characters who invaded the pitch at Villa didn't look right to me. I doubt most of them go to games very often. Wonder if some are even Villa fans at all.
They looked dodgy because they had all day to go on the lash. Some of the footage clearly shows them stood on the pitch way before the final whistle and half of them were rocking.

The spirit of Suarez lives on, even though he has departed these shores for sunnier climes.

It looked a bit like a bunch of pissed up cunts on a jolly to me though, rather than a bunch of emotional, diehard Vila fans. It seemed like it was more about them having an excuse to show off, rather than the actual result.

Those bloody Chelsea fans, first there was Heysel, now they're at Villa for a bit of naughty!

Quality goal from Sinclair.

pathetic from the the villa fans
pathetic from the villa stewards and police
they cut to the crowd at several points during injury time and you could see quite a few of them chewing their faces off - one guy, mid-late 40s was gurning like a right old spastic
also, what kind of parrmt invades the pitch with their kids?!!??

On the subject of pitch invasions, we are hardly the ones to be pointing the finger on that given the last game nonsense where we've had all sorts on the pitch as well. Granted we had won something but the fans shouldn't be on there in any situation.
As for Villa - 5.30 kick-off means all afternoon on the piss + a local derby + a key win for a team starved of any tangible success for a while so a perfect storm for a pitch invasion and loutish behaviour.

That had to hurt. Skyrtl goes up for a challenge and lands on his napper. 5 minutes to sort him out and then stretchered off.
Ouch.

And Blackburn should have had a penalty after Sterling takes the ball away with his hand before being floored. How the lino never saw that is quite unbelievable, he gave the kick the other way.

Just wondering where all these superb noisy fans the dippers have got are. You can clearly hear instructions been barked out from the bench. Another myth from dipperland methinks. Blackburn look the better outfit last twenty minutes but it's inevitable what will happen second half.

All's you can hear is the Blackburn fans singing 'Have you won the Premier League'.
Blackburn looking the more cultured side in that half and it's as if Liverpool just want to hoof the ball up front and once there try and play it in the final third.

Amazing how we never win at their place. They are a poor imitation of previous dipper sides. Long ball merchants under the disguise of long range passing. Gerard, though not playing today, being the worst exponent

And there's the difference between certain teams. Conway gets grabbed by Lovren but pushes on to get the cross in. Sturridge gets a similar tug and hits the deck as soon as he feels it.
Cheating bastards.

Looks like the Dippers are willing to cheat their way to a semi-final, against a lower division team. They're falling over like flies.

They did it against, I think, Oldham. Just like the rags and the chavs, there's nothing to which they won't stoop to win a game. Even if it means denying much-needed revenue to lower league teams.

So it's not only Butthead then, who is the sole tactical visionary in this respect; looks as though Bodgers is trying to rival him, with a vengeance, in such progressive thinking.
This could become an exciting new trend in world football.

I think you'll find Jack Charlton was there years before them. Just shows you how he was years ahead of his time.
