This Weeks Other Games | Sat 7 - Wed 11 Feb 15

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Although I hate the pair of those cunts they put on a decent game. Fast, energetic flowing football that was probably only let down by the oppo being just as good.

Spurs and Dippers have put on quite a few decent performances this season and tonight's was another good showing.

Bonus for me was the score. This keeps the chasing group close to the Rags which will keep the pressure on. When it comes to the Wenger Trophy I'd like to see the Rags well out of it.

It's the same over here. Stevie G this and Stevie G that.

At one point the guy said, in relation to Sterling still not signing this mega offer, that former dippers star Stan fucking Collymore said that if Sterling soon doesn't sign he should just leave Liverpool and never come back.

It's just sad.

Collymore is such a fucking dickhead.

Be funny if Sterling signed for us though. Dummies everywhere. Then we put him in the reserves.

he could play for the eds could he not? we could then claim he came through our youth system...

Michael Owen after Balotelli scoring: "I was going to say he could have got the winner...I was thinking it in my head when he came on."

But you didn't say it Michael. It doesn't count if you say it after he's already scored.

good game for the neutral last night, but games like that usually are when they don't bother to defend properly. Danny Rose was beyond awful for Spurs and Sakho and Skrtel were both shit and and were teetering on a red card.... also don't get me started on Eric Dier, how the hell is he getting away with masquerading as a professional footballer.

Some Dippers fan from Dublin tweeted last night that he'd eat his own shit if Mario scored the winner.

I didn't see his first yellow, but thought the second one was soft. I'm a bit biased, though ....

Well, Chelsea got the winner the media wanted so I suppose it depends on your point of view. The BBC are saying Ivanovic was "bear-hugging" someone in the same incident though, so make what you want of that. Not seen it myself so I can't really comment.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Media reporting Ivanovic may have bitten an opposition player. Watch this space.

Genuine question.

Has Smalling scored as many PL goals as wooney this season ? penalties not included ?

I had our game on comp and the Chavs on TV. It looked a very soft booking as GB had lost his man and thrown a leg out at the back, in desperation basically. May sound a cert but the reality was that the player made the most of it and it looked like he was even playing for it. The ref didn't even look to be giving a card after awarding the FK but after all the cafuffle and badgering by Terry he decided it was worthy of another yellow.

To be fair both his yellows could be seen as warranted, but at the same time Ivanovich could've gone as well. The relief though was amazing, players diving over each other and filling the corner is never a good sign unless you're in the final as it will eventually drain you. There's still a wad of games to go and no way will they be able to handle the pressure unless we let them off. It's down to us to keep them straight.

NB. I didn't slag Maureen off.
