Cant say I have seen much of Pougatch, just read up on him, he is more of a cricket man, but has done a lot of football and seems respected. Just says born in London in 68, so must be a rag then! He was a public schoolboy at boarding school and has married lady Victoria whatsit whose daddy is earl of somewhere.
He cant be worse than Chiles, this has made me happy, Chiles was useless. So will he be in the hotseat for our Barca away game or are we the Sky choice that day?

Chiles always seemed to think that people were tuning in to listen to him, and never understood it was the football and the (so called) footy expert panellists that people actually wanted to hear from.
Like Colin Murray before him on MOTD2, its taken way too long but finally the utterly useless level of their presence has finally been noted and henceforth removed. Surely a daily show on Talkscrote beckons for a man of Chiles intellect.

Chiles was at his best (if you can say that) on the One Show but i think that was a lot to do with his co-presenter..........
I think some are more suited to radio like Jonathan Pearce, was a far better footie commentator on radio than on TV, will be interesting to see how the new guy pans out certainly can't get any worse (hopefully).
ITV in general don't do footie well at all with the likes cunt keane etc

This little sentence sums ITV up perfectly.

Compared to BT Sport, ITV Football is BAFTA Nomination standard. Whoever thought Owen, Mcmanaman and James, alongside Savage and that no mark he sits with as well, were worthy of airtime needs a good kicking; then shooting as well just to make sure

The cunt's an arsenal fan, I seem to recall. He has certainly come out with some needlessly anti-City shite in recent years. Rather less so before we got rich, it needs to be pointed out.
I have only ever encountered one arsenal fan (the lad ianwright that posts on here as it happens) that wasn't a complete knobshank.

It may also 'be linked' to the fact he is a useless patronsising simple cunt who makes every fucker switch off.
Whenever we are on ITV I just switch on at kick off and watch the news at half time.

I hope he fades into obscurity now, if I never have to listen to another 'um' and 'err' as he hamfists his way through a presentation I can rejoice.
