interesting that people are already assuming that Pellegrini's preferred strike duo will be Aguero and Bony rather than Aguero and Dzeko (when fit of course)
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Well Aguero/Dzeko are not exactly Keegan/Toshack in understanding when they play together are they ? I don't suppose that partnership will never be used, but I imagine it's Bony plus any of the three or Aguero/Bony on his own which will end up as the most favoured striking options.

Yes or Aguero on his own and Bony brought on as a substitution. Can't see Jovetic staying on that scenario and Edin might not be far behind. Obviously Sergio's fitness issues has to be borne in mind though.

"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"
"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Excellent video. As the soundtrack suggests he's very cool in front of goal and, although not that tall, very good in the air. It doesn't show his brilliant hold up play and how good he is in bringing others into play. I also think he'll be good at winning turnover ball high up the pitch which often leads to goals.

I've got the same nagging concerns SB.
Don't want to pour cold water on the positive thoughts going on in this thread, but I just hope Bony gets off to a flying start with ourselves and causes any feelings of concerned pessimism to evaporate in short order.

Hmm, we'll see how he pans out.
How the UK press pack works - Sept - Dec 2015, "Man City are short of a Striker and Must sign one." Jan 2015 AFTER signing the aforementioned needed striker - "City Must sell a striker now as they have four."
You couldn't make this stuff up.

And maybe it'll be worthwhile winning corners now.

Don't like him. He cost me a few hundred quid new years day last year. Had City to win 3-1, Kolarov last scorer then Bony scored from thirty yards to make it 3-2 in the last minute. When he starts banging em in for us the story will change to Joe Hart costing me a few hundred quid.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Demba Ba isn't like Bony.
He was always flakey as fuck even when he scored goals. Bony has been solid as a rock, even when he doesn't score.
No comparison.
Let's put this up again, for Demba Ba comparison :
