Joe Hart has signed a new contract with City that'll keep him at the club till summer 2019!

The new trend of us using bonuses to cover a wage reduction had better be structured on him improving his kicking

Very good news. He bounced back very well last season to being dropped and remains a key player for us. Furthermore, he is an influential and well-respected member of the squad.
We would have to pay a significant amount of money to get anyone better, as there are very few better (even fewer when you consider if other clubs would be willing to sell to us).
Now it's essential we sign Milner up on a new contract. He's such a key player for us. It would be a monumental fuck up if we allowed him to leave.

Saw a theory yesterday that, as well as bonuses, these contracts could be heavily front-end loaded so wages reduce over time. Cunnng if so.

If people disagree with Hart signing a new contract, then make a bloody argument against it.
Why just write a meaningless statement, without any supporting argument??? Those posts easily identify the morons of the board, like shown above.

Not sure if it's a big mistake, but it's a mistake alright.

I'm one of those that would like Joe to finish with a long and illustrious carrer with City. Big Joe was probably the only hero in my life (soppy cunt) but I'd love to see Joe Hart go on and win everyting in sight, only with us.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Joe Corrigan was also my hero growing up and I remember watching for England B results from the other side of the world just because he was playing!
Joe Hart has a long way to go to those dizzy heights of dependency even if he exceeds the requirement for skill particularly in shotstopping. I just dont understand why better decision-making in the easier parts of the game such as distribution and kicking cant be trained into him does he not listen or does emotion take over in games. He is one of the best keepers in the premiership but could be THE best.
Despite all that I want Joe at the club now and until he retires and love his passion and how he does at least acknowledge us in the South Stand every week.
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

Big Joe was great but boy did he have his moments. I remember us being thrashed 4-1 or even 5-1 at home to West Ham. One of the goals followed a punt down field from the edge of the area by Joe. It was volleyed straight past him as he was walking back to the goal!

Glad this one is sorted then. Keep up the good performances, improve your weaknesses and don't get complacent Joe!
Now that Milner's deal! Let's get it sorted out!

There's a HUGE difference between early Joe and later Joe.
