Fortunately for us our scouts tend to make decisions based on more than one appearance

Having watched Turin derby and a couple of other Juventus games,Pogba would be a far better bet imo. Not to say Barkley is not a good player, I just don't think he is a £50m player

They are two very different players with different roles in the team. I don't see how you can compare them saying you'd have one over the other. I'd like to have them both and think that we could find space in the team for them

I'm basing it on a replacement for Yaya. It is only MY view, but I just think Pogba is better suited to replace Yaya than Barkley is.
Out of curiosity, if we found room for both, who would make way?

Although many others on here see Barkley as a replacement for Yaya, I've never shared that view. I agree with you that Pogba seems the best suited of the current crop of young midfielders to replace Yaya. I see Barkley more as a cross between Silva and Nasri with a bit of Jovetic. I suppose Nasri would be the one to make way for Barkley as there is no way I could leave Silva out of the starting XI

Fair comment. Prefer Reus myself to replace Nasri but football is all conjecture. Some will agree, some won't, doesn't really matter at the end of the day as long as we enjoy the football.
Doubt we'll see either player though

I'd probably take Reus over Barkley too but he also seems to have his fair share of injury problems

Just seen Sterling for Scouse 2 try to take the full back on 'with all his speed', it didn't work so he jumped into the defender and fell over and Lee Mason
gives Scouse 2 a foul !!!
Kin ell Scouse 2 under the cosh at Leicester.
Down 1-0
Damn ! scouse 2 equalise ! 1-1
Lee Mason proving to be a bit of jerk reffing this one .Some very strange decisions. Working in scouse 2s favour at the moment.

I can't fucking believe the goal I've just seen Stoke concede at the swamp.
Ater all that defending they did vs us. Straightforward cross, defender just stands there & lets Toilethead score. Incredible stuff.

1-1 & nothing more than Stoke deserve, but neither side deserve anything, they are both fucking awful.

Did you see the Stoke keeper pass it straight to a scum player in the box! Very dodgy indeed

Cambiasso has the midfield under control a master display in the first half. What do Sky do ? put tiddlywinks all over the pitch to show Gerrards touches ! all 12 of them ( i think).
Not sure if the 'touches' are of the ball or touching up the opposition mind !

i didn't. May have been having a piss. But the goal was like a brown envelope job. The bloke just let Fellaini nod the ball in. Could easily have stopped him getting to it. He is actually Utd's best player, & he's shit & suffered a bite on the neck from the invisible man prior to Stoke's goal..
This team has not turned around or anything, they are playing just as badly as they were early season. The only difference is how the oppo play. Stoke don't even look arsed so far & are dealing with them fairly comfortably. Utd only create when they fuck up. A decent side would be turning the rags over but Stoke just seem to be going through the motions.
A fair few rags seem to have come dressed as empty seats tonight.

Bloody Stevie Starfish. Have now turned off to watch the Missing. The BBC1 show, not the fans at the swamp who can't be arsed showing up
