Out for three weeks. Will probably just miss three matches; Scum, CSKA and QPR because of international break. Should be back for Swansea and Bayern. Toure probably ok for Sunday.

said it in match thread that he and yaya should not have played Wednesday night.
It was stupid and yaya could well have been out now too.

fucking shit news. nasri has usually played well against the rags so let's hope he can do silva's job on sunday. otherwise, if pelle insists on starting dzeko and aguero up top, we will be well short of creativity.

Finally some good news among the gloom?
http://www.sportinastorm.com/Premier-Le ... 47Z1839010"David Silva will hand his struggling Manchester City team-mates a huge boost by returning to action after the international break. The Spain midfielder sustained a knee injury in the Capital One Cup loss to Newcastle United and has missed the last three games. But the City playmaker is now off crutches and has been given the green light to resume light training this week. Silva has been one of this season's few bright spots for boss Manuel Pellegrini, who is hopeful his man will now be able to return for the must-win Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on November 25 at the Etihad."

At last some good news, I would save him for Bayern and wouldn't risk him against Swansea. We need him back badly, and we've been missing the link up play between Silva and Nasri. Fingers crossed we'll have the core of the team back and fit together in no time.

maybe not for some of our fans, but not all, and certainly our chairman prioritises it, as recently reported (quarter finals as the target).
rest him, or maybe as a sub (seems more likely) against swansea.
regardless, the engineer's job may be on the line with a loss or draw against bayern. can't see him risking it.

I was merely saying we should rest him vs Swansea in order to avoid rushing him back too quickly but if hes playing for Spain then i guess he really is okay

Saul
I just can't see us qualifying for the knock out statges of the UCL, if we win one, then that has the possibility of throwing us in the Europa League and that presents an altogether different problem of games on Thursday and not recovering for the weekend matches and our league form seriously suffering from it and I for one don't want to see us struggling any more that we currently are in the EPL

Hmmmh , with that in mind we might as well sell him for big bucks in the close season. He's knocking on now .
