They don't strike me as the kinda business people who make crass decisions like that. The casino hotel thing was mooted about ten years ago under the old shit era. It just doesn't fit with the image they're trying to build. Putting a casino next to the academy? Nahh

How do you come to that conclusion ? A few years back it was mooted that a Casino might be coming.
Our owners are probably the perfect kind of people to own and manage such a project

Not the locals, no but I imagine that the Etihad Palace Hotel casino with it's many tourist visitors from places like, let's just say Abu Dhabi for example, would do pretty ok.
And if QPR are still in the Prem...

When City are playing yes,but i cant see the top bollocks cruising around Miles Platting, Beswick and down Bradford road in their lambos on a cold December night.
It would be a ghost town, there would have to be some very serious entertainment going on most nights for it to work.
Most Casinos in the city are empty during the week so only could only guess the visitor footfall over the road.

Wouldn't discount it, our owners are quite spot on with market research, they didn't even start expanding the ground until it was blindingly obvious.
