Neymar out for rest of WC with fractured vertebrae from knee in back.

Brazil is really going to need some dodgy refereeing decisions to go their way to keep their long unbeaten streak at home going I'd think.

Germany hasn't been great but they should be organized enough to get thru to the final. Brazil haven't been good even with a full squad to pick from.

I think ze Germans are going to destroy them. There will be riots. Fact.

You're probably right, especially without Neymar and Thiago Silva

It's still mathematically possible for an all European final... That will go down well...

Yesterday's matches were shit. Worst day yet.

Brasilian thugs. Boring continentals. James and Neymar were the two most exciting players and they both get knocked out.

This one might go out with a whimper after sporting such a massive erection the first three weeks. Would be really sad. I'm hoping today gives us belgium and CR in the other semi just to mix it up. Seems impossible on paper but...

Watched the Beebs WC highlights this morning and couldn't believe what I was hearing, basically slating Fern, branding him a thug whilst singing the praises of Spuds Paul.

I thought Fern was excellent last night, probably the best player on the pitch. There was no really dirty hurtful challenges, just a couple to break up play and set a marker. I find it quite strange that they'd just pick-up on Fern's couple of challenges rather than the excellent work he did for Brazil? There was even a clip of his excellent ball into Hulk (I think) where Lawro (I think) went to praise before dismissing it as part of his agenda.

Oh, and I'm sick to death of seeing fucking Glen 'I want to be England's Healer' Hoddle on everything that is football. The boring Spuds fawning bastard gets on my fucking tits. TWAT!

Demichelis gets the start today! A lot of city players in this first game. Too bad for aguero. He would make it 4.

Why is Demichelis starting? Is Fernandez injured/suspended?

Great to see all those City players lined up. Pab's next to Messi, Vinnie giving his speech, warms the cockles of my heart.

It's not the first time either - the guy has a serious dislike for Fernie. At least Townsend acknowledged a couple of his excellent passes.

Winds me up like hell this does, it's as if they have a set script and try to highlight our players in every possible bad light, they even showed clips of the 3 incidents in order to back-up their point so it wasn't as if it was just a bit of idol talk, it was planned.

It shows to me how much our club have hurt these dandy pansy fuckers with all their love for the 'Old' top 4.

Anybody envisage an Argentina v Brazil final? The way the ref's are letting certain players off with things I can only summise that they want these top players on the pitch and in the final.

Pity about Neymar of course.

Was it, didn't really notice, thought it was a good finish.

Sideshow is fucking gash and actually hinders this Belgium team.

Edit: And then has 3 swipes at Messi on the edge of the box.

Vinny lost possession upfield and Messi pounced. He made a damn good block later on though.

Vinnie lost the ball but most were back in position to defend it, even Vinnie was back in a decent position. It was just a good goal for me.

If the ball got stuck in Fellaini's hair and he ran into the net, would it still be a goal?
