He is awful right now. Was terrible against Netherlands. Not better than Toure at current level.

Xavi would have been a great signing ..... in 2008. Nowadays his Bacon and Eggs look like they are going. He'd be carved up in the Prem at his age, where you get precious little time on the ball in midfield, and at his advancing years he'll be getting slower and playing deeper eliminating his effectiveness.

Great player in his day, but his career is in the twighlight phase and it isn't our job to top up his pension.

He would. Toure + Xavi would be over-run easily, unless we use a 3 man midfield.
